Job Overview

LD Kerns Contractors is hiring a Construction Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on high-quality commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects in Eastern Oklahoma. This leadership role focuses on safety, production, and quality control, ensuring all aspects of construction meet or exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate is an experienced supervisor with excellent communication skills, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to spec.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all daily operations on assigned job sites with a strong focus on safety, production, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Deliver projects on or before schedule and maintain full client satisfaction.
  • Strategically allocate resources and manage labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Supervise subcontractors and in-house teams to drive efficiency and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including reports, schedules, and logs.
  • Communicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid delays or budget overruns.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience (10+ preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to project sites in Eastern Oklahoma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Proven ability to lead independently and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Pro Core, and Bluebeam.
  • Experience managing assets and delegating tasks effectively.
