Pay: $28.00/hr
Location: Catoosa, OK
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM
Job Type: Welding | Direct Hire Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join a leading fabrication facility in Catoosa. This direct hire opportunity includes a $500 sign‑on bonus after 60 days. The Fitter will be responsible for fitting, aligning, and tack‑welding components to assemble header and structural products in accordance with engineering specifications and weld procedures.
Required Testing – Fitter- 2G Pulse Arc Weld Test
- Tape Measure Test
- Blueprint Reading Test
- Must understand degree calculations
- Weld metal parts together to fabricate production components
- Read and interpret blueprints for layout and fabrication
- Fit and weld fabricated and forged components using SMAW, GMAW, and/or GTAW processes
- Position, align, and fit components; tack‑weld to secure in position
- Set up welding equipment according to specified material requirements
- Follow all welding procedures and quality standards
- Maintain safe working practices
- Proven experience as a Fitter in a welding or fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols
- Strong understanding of welding processes and equipment setup
- Proficiency in fitting, aligning, and tack welding components
- Ability to pass all required tests
