Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a climate-controlled machine shop in Catoosa, OK. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating HAAS mills and lathes, as well as lathes equipped with Fanuc controls, to produce precision components according to specifications. This position requires strong setup skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate HAAS mills and lathes, and Fanuc-controlled lathes independently.
  • Perform complete setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and part specifications accurately.
  • Use precision measuring tools, including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers, to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and production goals with minimal rework.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work environment at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to achieve daily objectives.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through professionalism and reliability.
CNC Machinist Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of recent CNC machining experience required.
  • Solid knowledge and hands‑on experience with HAAS mills and lathes and Fanuc controls.
  • Must be able to perform own setups and operate independently with minimal assistance.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform precise measurements.
  • Proficient with tape measures, micrometers, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and effective teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a thoroughly clean and organized workstation.
Work Environment & Schedule

Climate‑controlled machine shop with an excellent team culture. Monday through Friday schedule with overtime as required.
