Material Handler. Pay: $20–$23/hour.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM — 4:30 PM.

Port of Catoosa, OK. Job Type: Temp to Hire. Job Order #: 122647. We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our team at the Port of Catoosa. The Material Handler will be responsible for operating forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication, spatial awareness, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace.

• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, bridge cranes, and jib cranes safely and efficiently.
• Rig and lift loads properly, inspecting rigging for safety and compliance.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and complete required documentation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with truck drivers and delivery personnel.
• Determine the best process for moving raw materials or finished goods in various situations.
• Maintain equipment, report defects, and ensure all tools and machinery are used properly.
• Follow JSA, PPE, and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and hazard-free.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervision.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months–1 year of experience as a material handler in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Valid forklift, crane, or lifting device certifications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities including standing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and pulling.
• Proven ability to work safely and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and pride in completing quality work.
