Essential Job Functions
  • Adhere to health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and wear the required PPE in warehouse or production areas (hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard toe and slip/oil resistant shoes, appropriate safety gloves, and seatbelts while operating forklifts).
  • Adhere to food quality and food safety standards (e.g., SQF) as provided by corporate, customers, and/or governing bodies.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to the production schedule and communicate issues or deviations to the appropriate parties.
  • Maintain production flow on machinery by monitoring down-/upstream issues, supplying raw materials, and performing minor servicing as needed.
  • Follow all Quality Assurance and Production line SOPs.
  • Perform equipment changeovers per SOPs; read imperial and metric measurements.
  • Record necessary production and quality information; maintain downtime reports and documentation.
  • Perform equipment and general sanitation in the work area as assigned by leadership.
  • Collaborate with all departments to improve quality, increase efficiencies, and reduce waste.
  • Understand visual and auditory cues to identify production or machine issues.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership (e.g., cross training, sanitation, inventory management, training).
Required Skills
  • Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment; beverage production experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand production machinery/forklifts and be aware of technical issues.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Basic mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to read gauges, thermometers, and weight measurements.
  • Formal training in WHIMIS, HACCP, Hygiene, etc. preferred.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Problem-Solving: troubleshoot machinery and production issues efficiently with teamwork.
  • Teamwork: collaborate with coworkers to achieve targets and maintain a positive environment.
  • Documentation: accurate recording of production data and organized records.
  • Timely and accurate completion of required monthly training.
  • Communication: effective verbal and written communication; follow downtime escalation processes.
Education and Experience
  • High School Certification or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Schedule:

    Weekdays; weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays may be required. Overtime as needed.
  • Environment:
    Fast-paced production plant with moving parts; loud areas requiring hearing protection; temperatures can be hot or cold; structured with clear targets and schedules.
