Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for ​CNC Machinist II​:  $20 - $28/hour

Pay commensurate with experience.  

Shift: This position is for 2nd shift (4:30 pm to 2:30 am) Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.  ​​CNC Machinist II​

Responsibilities Include:

Fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Operates one or more types of machines in order to meet production demands. Sets and adjusts machine settings as necessary. Reads and interprets diagrams and blueprints to select, position, and secure machinery to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. Complete tasks accurately according to customer specifications. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, location of surfaces, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; and indicating vices. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces;

adhering to international standards. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;

calling for repairs. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. Updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.
