• Assemble electrical and mechanical equipment and their subassemblies according to customers’ needs following drawings and other written and verbal specifications.
• Drill, tap, or ream holes; align components; and bolt, screw, or rivet them together using hand tools or portable power tools; bend and install electrical conduit.
• Strip shielding and crimp assorted wires to required work instructions.
• Train or assist in the training of other employees in assembly processes.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; work on-site and overtime as required.
• Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization and good housekeeping in the area.
• Ensure cleanliness and functionality of hand-tools, power-tools, and equipment in the area.
• Work cooperatively with others and interact respectfully with customers, vendors, and all levels of staff.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to switch between tasks as needed.

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s, using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• Two years of prior assembly related experience.
