Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Day Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Vessel Welders to join a team committed to precision, safety, and exceptional craftsmanship. The Vessel Welders in this role will set up and operate advanced welding equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure all work meets strict quality standards. Candidates must bring strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A 3G MIG/FLUXCORE WELD TEST
  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust advanced-level welding equipment
  • Plan details of working procedures and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
  • Inspect finished products for completeness and quality assurance compliance
  • Perform repairs that meet high appearance and quality standards
  • Utilize strong understanding of volts, amps, and weld settings
  • Enter maintenance breakdown calls using basic data entry skills
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Detect defects, handle small parts, and maintain required production averages
  • Participate in improvement planning to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality
  • Safely crawl in and out of vessels as required for the job
  • Communicate effectively with all departments
  • Perform material handling tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Must have 2 years of welding experience
  • Must pass a 3G MIG/Fluxcore weld test
  • Vessel experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documents
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic math skills and understanding of welding parameters
  • Ability to work safely in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
  • Must understand and follow the company's quality policies
  • 6+ months material handling experience or equivalent knowledge
  • Basic safety training
