Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and automation technology, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, technical proficiency, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineering Technician

Location: Westborough, MA

Pay Range: $30 per hour

• Support the development and integration of manufacturing test processes for electro‑mechanical products.
• Assist engineers in setting up test systems, including control panels, conveyance, printers, dimensioners, weigh scales, delta robots, labelers, and vision systems.
• Travel locally to vendor locations for acceptance testing and custom test panel setup.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, and connections to ensure proper operation.
• Document test procedures, system configurations, and test results accurately and thoroughly.

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Basic mechanical aptitude for test system installation and assembly.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, routing, and connections.
• Experience in electrical system troubleshooting and debugging.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for system startup and testing.
• Knowledge of reading schematics and wiring diagrams, with experience creating Bills of Materials (BOM).
