Electric Repair Technician

Our client, an industry leader in medical equipment support and maintenance, is seeking a Electric Repair Technician to join their team. As a Electric Repair Technician, you will be part of the technical service department supporting device repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electric Repair Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: 22.00/hr

• Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment.
• Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to returning them to customers.
• Provide technical support over the phone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers.
• Support engineering teams with technical VAC device repair and troubleshooting.
• Assist in training internal and external customers on VAC device repair procedures in collaboration with the Technical Service Center.

• Experience with device testing, diagnosing, and executing repairs on electronic or medical equipment.
• Knowledge of repairing circuit boards, cable assemblies, and firmware/software uploads/downloads.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality control standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace and monitor tool calibration and maintenance.
• Effective communication skills to provide technical assistance and collaborate with team members.
