Job Title: Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the food service packaging industry, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Set up and operate manual machining equipment such as Bridgeport mills, surface grinders, honing machines, broaching tools, and engine lathes.
• Operate CNC equipment as required to support manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate and work from blueprints, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair parts without detailed prints.
• Inspect own work to ensure it meets blueprint specifications using precision inspection tools.
• Utilize inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and indicators, owning personal inspection tools and hand tools.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Commitment to continuous learning through structured training, on-the-job experience, and online courses.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders.
• Experience with manual and CNC machining equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
