We are seeking skilled Class B Welders to join a fabrication team in Catoosa, OK. This position involves advanced welding responsibilities that require attention to detail, blueprint reading, and adherence to code standards. As a Class B Welder
, you will perform welding processes, layout work, and collaborate closely with supervision and QA/QC to ensure the highest quality production.
- Perform welding functions per job specifications using MIG and Flux Core processes.
- Successfully pass plate tests:
2G and 3G MIG/Flux
. - Select equipment, plan layouts, and assemble components for welding.
- Work with supervision and QA/QC teams to meet code and project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical codes (ASME, API-650/620).
- Utilize precision measuring devices (tape measure, protractors, gauges).
- Proficiently perform arc gouging when required.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and production standards.
- Proven experience as a Class B Welder in a fabrication or industrial setting.
- Ability to read and analyze technical information, codes, and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working long shifts.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and quality work.
