Quality Control Inspector at Big Tex Trailers

Responsible for ensuring the highest quality of trailers for ATW through testing, monitoring production processes, and identifying malfunctions. Collaborate with plant manufacturing and operations teams, utilize checklists and standards, track quality assessments, follow products through manufacturing, perform inspections, maintain data, and perform other duties as required.

• Checks the quality of trailers for ATW by conducting tests, monitoring production processes and identifying malfunctions.
• Collaborates with the plant manufacturing team and operations staff to deliver the highest quality product possible.
• Tracks quality assessments to ensure the plant output meet expectations daily.
• Utilizes checklists, standard work, quality standards, engineering standards, and iAuditor templates to monitor the manufacturing process and report on plant quality KPI’s.
• Follows product through the entirety of the manufacturing process to ensure each step is completed as intended.
• Performs detailed inspections of raw materials and final products and confirms they are manufactured to standard.
• Tracks, records, and maintains quality assurance data.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and maneuver 40+ pounds.
• Frequently exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
• Continuously exposed to a manufacturing/industrial environment.
