HIRING :
Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

Monday – Thursday 5PM-8AM

Friday 5PM-Monday 8AM (Continuous)

The 7on/7off hospice nurse supports the patient needs of the agency in the evening during the weekdays and over the weekend. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities after normal business hours.

We are looking for a compassionate, talented and experienced Hospice Nurse (LPN or RN) that is eager to join an exciting organization and become part of our Hospice team.

The Hospice Nurse provides service for the personal, physical, emotional and social needs of the patient-family unit. Hospice Nurse will be responsible for evaluating and responding to the patient’s/caregiver’s needs via telephone contact, home visits, and/or facility visits for assessment, symptom management, treatment, teaching and coordination of care.

• Active Nursing License in the state of Oklahoma
• Maintains an active CPR certification.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare, hospice, or palliative care and/or training in end-of-life care, preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group.
• Demonstrate organizational skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical skills when problem-solving.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
