Overview
We are seeking compassionate, patient-centered full-time and PRN Nurse Practitioners to support primary care, after-hours care, and occupational health services within our clinic network serving tribal and non-tribal community members in Anadarko, OK. This role is ideal for providers who value relationship-based care, flexibility, and working within growing, mission-focused health systems.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care, episodic, and walk-in services for patients of all ages
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and manage chronic conditions
- Support after-hours care needs within the clinic’s designated scope and capabilities
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
- Participate in care planning, case review, and quality improvement initiatives
- Document care accurately in the clinic’s EMR
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory guidelines, and organizational protocols
- Participate in community-education or outreach activities, when appropriate
- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice location
- No current professional disciplinary proceedings or sanctions by any state or federal authorities or medical facilities
- Never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or other third-party payors, nor listed on any exclusion list for government healthcare programs
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required
- Experience in primary care, after-hours care, or community health settings
- Strong commitment to culturally respectful care and relationship-building
- Ability to work independently in a clinic environment with varying patient volumes
- Experience working with tribal communities or rural health systems
- Familiarity with social drivers of health and trauma-informed care principles
