We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women’s Surgical unit.

Within our unit we have:

• 40-MB rooms
• 15-LDR rooms
• 14-High Risk Antepartum
• 8-bed OBED unit
• 4-LIBC Birthing Suites
• 4-Pre Post Rooms
• 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases)

Within our unit we also have full-time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family‘s Women‘s Center.

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
