Seasonal Groundskeeper – Sequoyah State Park Golf Course Base Pay Range

$12.00 per hour.

Working with Property and Maintenance Managers, this position is responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces including lawns, gardens, and recreation areas.

• Cuts grass, weeds, trees and brush
• Operates and maintains equipment like lawn mowers, weed eaters, blowers, and trimmers
• Plants flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Applies mulch and prunes or deadheads bushes and shrubs
• Removes trash, debris, and snow from common areas
• Checks permanent recreation equipment for safety concerns
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting items up to 50 lbs
• Must have a valid Driver’s License

• Demonstrate an attention to detail
• Possess the ability to problem‑solve
• Possess the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of people
