Work Environment: On-site | Minimal travel required

Department: Specialty Synthesis Group

Position Summary:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist to support analytical testing and quality control processes within our Specialty Synthesis Group. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and a solid understanding of chemical analytical methods—particularly chromatography techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC)—to evaluate and interpret data for a wide range of products, including Photochromic Dyes and OLED materials.
  • This role requires a self-starter who can work independently in a quality-controlled environment, ensuring accurate testing, documentation, and communication between production and QC teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods in a timely manner.
  • Perform tabulation and interpretation of analytical test data.
  • Serve as a liaison between production teams and the QC Test Lab.
  • Approve raw materials and batches based on established specifications.
  • Prepare and communicate batch disposition reports.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving investigations.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities and compliance initiatives.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through skill-building and on-the-job learning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Chemistry or a related field required.
  • Experience with quantitative analysis using HPLC, UPLC, and GC techniques
  • Prior experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Competent in data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to perform light physical work, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
