Our client, a leading organization in the technology and innovation sector, is seeking a UX Researcher IV to join their dynamic team. As a UX Researcher IV, you will be an integral part of the Research and Development department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to creating cutting‑edge products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: UX Researcher IV
Location: Burlingame, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 month contract w/ possibility of extension
Pay Range: 70-82/hr Depending on Experience and Education
What's the Job?
- Design and execute comprehensive research plans on emerging technologies such as AI, wearable devices, and innovative hardware solutions.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine research questions and inform product development strategies.
- Record, analyze, and interpret behavioral and attitudinal data collected in lab and remote settings.
- Conduct descriptive analyses on small‑scale quantitative data to support research hypotheses.
- Synthesize research findings into clear insights, write detailed reports, and prepare impactful presentations to influence product strategy and design decisions.
What's Needed?
- Masters degree in Sociology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in UX research and/or design, with a focus on human subjects research in in‑person settings.
- Experience with hardware‑based research and qualitative research design and analysis methods.
- Proficiency in running descriptive analyses on quantitative data and utilizing data to support hypotheses.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate research insights effectively to diverse audiences.
