Ron’s Lumberjack Café, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking candidates for our Prep Cook position at our Howe, OK location.

What Does a Prep Cook Do?
Prepares daily food items and ingredients for service
Sets up and stocks the kitchen with all items needed for the day Prepares and cooks food orders accurately, following recipes, presentation standards, and any special instructions
Assists with preparing food items for daily specials
Restocks ingredients and supplies throughout the day and at the end of each shift
Receives, stocks, rotates, and organizes inventory and freight
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area Cleans grills, cooking equipment, and food preparation areas at the end of each shift
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and assists with general kitchen cleaning
Assists with inventory counts as needed
Supports team members and performs additional duties as assigned
What Does It Take to be Successful as a Prep Cook?
High school diploma or equivalent1–2+ years of restaurant, food service, or related experience preferred
Food handling knowledge and basic cooking skills
Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food safety standards
Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight frequently
Ability to stand for extended periods of time Sense of urgency and willingness to assist team members as needed
Results-oriented with the ability to serve customers with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
