Electrician

ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is recruiting a full-time Electrician in Stringtown, OK. Sand and Gravel Plant. Primarily responsible for installing, replacing, repairing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls/systems.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Reads and interprets drawings and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Performs scheduled maintenance inspections in accordance with company policy and practice requirements.
• The work involves replacing or repairing worn or damaged components or systems.
• Installs, replaces, or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, electrical motors, generators, industrial storage batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems, and other electrical components.
• Periodically tests and troubleshoots electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Maintains electrical equipment inventory and records of maintenance.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
• Other duties as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Professional Experience (Required): A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an industrial electrician in the mining or construction industry, High Voltage Experience required
• Ability to read and write
• Excellent driving skills
• Valid Driver’s License

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
