Mid-Level Journeyman Automotive Technician

Location: Ripley, WV Heated and Cooled, Fast-Paced Environment

Job Summary: We are seeking a mid-level Journeyman Technician to join our busy, climate-controlled shop. The ideal candidate has solid experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles across multiple systems and can work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining excellent workmanship. You will be working in a very busy shop that is fully heated and cooled, giving you a comfortable space to work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with mentoring less experienced technicians when needed.
• Maintain clear communication with service advisors regarding repair scope, time estimates, and parts requirements.
• Keep the work area organized and follow all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy shop.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality.
