Kiln Car Repair Technician

Red River Brick, a brand of General Shale, Inc., is seeking a Kiln Car Repair Technician for our Union City, OK manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a dependable, safety-focused individual with mechanical aptitude who takes pride in maintaining equipment and supporting efficient plant operations.

Red River Brick serves the Southwest U.S. market—one of the largest brick construction markets in the country. Operating across eight manufacturing plants, the brand offers more than 60 unique brick colors and provides regional builders with reliable access to high-quality products through convenient retail distribution locations.

• Inspect, repair, and maintain kiln cars to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Remove damaged or worn materials and replace components as needed
• Perform mechanical repairs and assist with rebuilding kiln car structures
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs

• Mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Proven commitment to working safely at all times
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Previous maintenance, welding, or equipment repair experience is a plus
