Our client, a leading player in the logistics industry, is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the transportation management team supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Logistics Coordinator

Location: DeKalb, IL / hybrid

• Execute product transportation efficiently and effectively by leveraging available tools and processes to surpass service expectations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including customer service, carriers, facilities, and deployment, while maintaining a professional demeanor in all forms of communication.
• Demonstrate initiative and make informed decisions independently, considering customer needs, facility requirements, and carrier capacity.
• Manage planning anomalies and analyze non‑routine problems to understand underlying issues.
• Track shipments in transit and identify potential risks for mitigation.

• High School Diploma, with a college education preferred.
• Transportation and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook Programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
