Electrical Apprentice Instructor
Join FTI as an Electrical Apprentice Instructor. FTI is an industry leader in construction, engineering, manufacturing and renewable energy, focused on a culture of care.
About the RoleThe Technical Training Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of Learning & Development technical and trade‑related training and services, including coordination and facilitation of classes, curriculum design, jobsite audits and on‑site coaching.
Minimum Requirements- Education:
Completion of an apprenticeship program or an Associate/Bachelor’s Degree. - Experience:
Strong technical background, 5 years related experience in electrical or specialty systems, and 1–2 years facilitation experience. - Travel:
Up to 25%. - Work schedule:
6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday–Friday; may vary to meet business needs.
- Effectively facilitate electrical apprenticeship, Quick Start, and trade‑related training classes.
- Collaborate with Apprenticeship Team to research, recommend and implement new training programs.
- Design and develop technical curriculum based on organizational needs.
- Conduct jobsite or on‑site coaching to support employee development.
- Build relationships with operational leaders to foster open dialogue.
- Support Apprenticeship Coordinator in program coordination.
- Work with L&D team and subject‑matter experts to continuously improve content and delivery.
- Continuously increase knowledge of L&D craft.
- Participate in professional and trade organizations.
- Model company values and professional standards to trainees.
- Demonstrate approachability and collaborative influence.
