Job DescriptionAs an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.
- Advanced degrees in Engineering such as EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering).
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Strong project management skills.
- Able to read technical drawings and documentation (Electronics & Mechanical).
- Knowledge of using Six Sigma/quality tools and APQP (PFMEA, control plan, SPC MSA, etc.).
- Familiarity with pick‑and‑place machines for surface‑mounted technology.
- A/OI/AXI understanding.
- Knowledge of conformal coating process.
- Experience with modern circuit card production equipment.
