Job SummaryPrincipal responsibilities are to develop new business, including loan, treasury management and deposit products. Promotes an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s character qualities.
EssentialFunctions
- All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Market and originate loans and business deposit products to businesses.
- Administer a portfolio of loans originated maintaining asset quality and conducting appropriate collection efforts.
- Refer prospects to Treasury Management and Wealth Management.
- Lending authority will be commensurate with lending experience.
The position requires a college degree in business, preferably a major in finance, accounting, or economics. Experience of 3-7 years of lending is required.
Required Skills and KnowledgeSkills required are financial analysis, sales, relationship management and involvement in community activities, along with good communication skills, verbal and written. The person in this position should be able to interview the customer and structure non-complex loans with limited supervision. Basic computer skills for spreadsheet preparation, word processing, and power point presentations. Knowledge of business and personal deposit, treasury management, and loan products including SBA requirements are required.
RequiredLicenses and/or Certifications
Nationwide Mortgage Lending System Registered or ability to meet qualifications for registration.
Physical DemandsExtended period(s) of time may be spent viewing a personal computer, sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. The physical demands necessary for this role should be performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
