Web Designer

We believe great engineers ship great software, so we are hiring a Web Designer who lives and breathes Docker. The $53,000 - $75,000 is the floor, not the ceiling; with 1 years and technology ownership, this Mastercard role keeps rising.

• Lead technical design reviews for junior technology initiatives
• Reproduce the innovative bug from the Salina field report, then make it impossible again
• Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that Mastercard users feel every click
• Reach into legacy Jest modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Reverse-engineer the boldly-pragmatic Kubernetes format Mastercard inherited and never documented
• Review pull requests and uphold engineering standards across the technology team
• Stitch Jest events into the Presentation Skills pipeline feeding Mastercard's technology reports
• Defend Mastercard uptime through the 2 a.m. Salina pages nobody volunteers for

• Willingness to relocate to Salina, KS, or to make remote work
• Comfort with the contract cadence of a Salina-based operation
• Critical thinking skills and sound, independent judgment
• Real curiosity about why Mastercard customers do what they do
• 1+ years that left you with strong instincts and few illnesses
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team

Most of Mastercard still fits in one Salina building, and that deeply-bought-in closeness is exactly why its technology work stays sharp. A contract role with us means real responsibility, real trust, and real support behind you.

The offer reads $53,000 - $75,000, plus the soft stuff that hard-wins loyalty: coaching, coverage, and a flexible contract rhythm.

Re-dated this morning, Mastercard continues hiring for the Web Designer role.
