Schedule: Flexible either four 10-hour days or a standard Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (approximate)

Your Flight Path Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses independently

• Use your own strategy for clamping, holding, and machining to achieve optimal outcomes

• Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job

• Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools

• Maintain adherence to production schedules and dispatch lists

• Stage materials, tools, and fixtures for efficient workflow

• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve processes, and reduce cycle times

Job Requirements

Details:

Pre-Launch Checklist:

• 5+ years of manual machining experience preferred

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding

• Mechanical aptitude and exceptional problem-solving skills

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, etc.

• Skilled in selecting and setting up tool holders, cutters, fixtures, boring bars, inserts

• Familiarity with AS9100 or other QMS preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw accurate conclusions

• Blueprint reading & tolerancing

• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

• In-process inspection & nonconformance identification

• Selection of tools & finishing media

• Precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, dial indicators, scales)
