Position SummaryCompletes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress and information; determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change and feedback.
Responsibilities- Manage freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment such as single and double pallet jack, lift pacer.
- Identify, count, separate, combine, and scan freight utilizing warehouse management system terminal, scales, and scanners; maintain records, logs, and forms.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy.
- Keep work area organized and maintain freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving them with a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
- Monitor freight to ensure cold‑chain and species compliance, palletizing machinery, and other standards.
- Perform order picking and use pallet jacks.
