Why is this Role Essential?As a Dialysis Nurse, you supervise dialysis care, uphold policies and regulations, assume a hands‑on role, and foster a team approach to patient care.
What Will You Do?- Patient Care &
Education:
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health, treatment, and self‑care. - Team Leadership & Supervision: Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians, supervise their performance, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
- Treatment Monitoring & Adjustment: Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic medical records, complete care plans timely, and adhere to safety and regulatory protocols.

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of dialysis experience required
- BLS Provider certification
Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test is required. This role involves prolonged walking, standing, stooping, and bending, with lifting up to 25 lbs. Strong focus and attention to detail are essential. The environment includes temperature control, moderate noise levels, and potential exposure to infectious materials.
