American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry (Cardiac) unit night shift position requiring a KS or compact RN license and recent cardiac and telemetry experience.

• Work in a hospital-based Telemetry Cardiac Unit (4N)
• Night shift schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts ), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Required to float to all acute care units
• Will work with patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring, TR Bands post-procedure, and management of specific cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem)
• Involvement with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
• Uses Epic for EMR documentation;
  Epic experience preferred
• Must participate in required orientation hours and sessions at multiple campuses and virtual Epic training as needed
• Holiday coverage required for either Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's shifts (choose one from each)
• Nicotine-free work environment
• Bi-weekly pay period
• First 2 days of orientation at main campus, followed by unit-specific training and Epic testing or training
• May have one shift canceled per pay period with at least 2-hour notice
• Must adhere to unit dress code and participate in team-based care

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-procedure TR Bands required
• Familiarity with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred
• Ability to float to all acute care units
