American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night contract requiring at least 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg experience and a KS or compact RN license.

• Medical/Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from
• Weekend requirement of 2 weekends per month
• Holiday coverage required as needed in rotation
• May float within scope of practice
• On-call requirement of 1 shift per month

• Active KS or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting required
• Experience with IV drips such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem preferred
• New graduates will not be considered

• Facility is nicotine-free
• Local candidates accepted but must reside within a 60-mile radius to qualify for consideration
• Local candidates will be expected to convert to permanent employment after the first contract
• Orientation includes a virtual session on Monday followed by on-unit training for the remainder of the week
