LPN Classroom Nurse Medically Fragile Students

Location: Olathe, KSSchool Year: Position: Full-Time LPNSchedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM3:30 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a school district in Olathe, KS for the  school year. This role will provide classroom-based nursing support to medically fragile students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care and medical support to students
• Monitor students' health and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with students' individual healthcare needs
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and health records
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and healthcare providers
• Respond appropriately to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
• Help create a safe and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas LPN license
• Pediatric, school nursing, or medically fragile experience preferred
• Comfortable working with students with complex medical needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and compassionate approach to student care
