Unit DescriptionPatient population: ?primarily acute cardiac patients, post invasive cardiac procedures, chest pain, acute illnesses such as (but not limited to) ETOH withdrawal, COVID, sepsis, tikosyn and Sotalol initiation and titration Average census and nurse to patient ratio: 3 units totaling 59 beds (we staff for 45 beds) Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, 1-2 patient care techs on each unit depending on census and acuity Beds per unit: 4 north (28 beds), 4 south (cardiac observation unit is 18 beds) and 4 East (13 beds) Tech or equipment used on the unit:
Client heart monitors, Masimo vital sign machines, Stryker beds
BSN preferred but we do take ADN with willingness to sign a contract to obtain BSN within 5 years, 1 Year of RN Hospital experience
