Overview
The SITECH Regional/Construction Technology Sales Representative is responsible for actively developing and growing the market by identifying and selling to both strategic customers such as large construction contractors and smaller scale construction customers. This territory includes multiple counties across northeastern Kansas.
What You Will Do in This Role- Accountable for the sales performance and expense budgets of the region including the achievement of revenue and profit on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Monitor and report strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the market, specifically with competitors.
- Deliver regular and accurate forecasts to the General Manager.
- Assist clients in understanding which products or services best satisfies their needs in terms of functionality, quality, price and delivery.
- Record and maintain client contact data; maintain strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively and diligently work with other members of the sales team and technical support to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly.
- Help in designing localized solutions to merge SITECH technology with local machines and workflows.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
- Strong Sales aptitude - has successfully sold products and services.
- Strong team member, shares information about successes and failures with fellow employees to help achieve objectives as a team.
- Ability to modify behavior/approach in different situations.
- Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical expertise in understanding complex issues and their consequences.
- Ability to drive and valid license required
- Associate s Degree in a technical, civil engineering, surveying, or related business field preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of SITECH products, typically gained through experience with an end customer.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in construction or a related industry preferred.
- Understands the fundamentals of Laser & GPS machine guidance systems, of topographical mapping and surveying, understanding grade and slope control, and automation set-up and troubleshooting.
- Experienced in the following aspects of the sales process:
Calculation of market share, calculating deal closure rate, executes sales plans focusing on territory and product line, plans sales activities daily, weekly and monthly, collects and processes sales leads, performs sales utilizing the consultative sales process, performs key account management to maximize the company s success in building strong relationships with leading regional customers.
