As a Security Officer - Access Control in Olathe, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics and distribution. You will deter security‑related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
• Carry out security‑related procedures and follow site‑specific policies relevant to logistics and distribution environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and using problem‑solving skills, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, observations, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols, maintaining clear communication with team members and site contacts.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment within the logistics and distribution location.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment in accordance with state and local laws; a valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
