Diesel Technician/Mechanic – Premier Truck Group

• Master Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing complaints without any assistance.
• Repair and install truck/engine equipment.
• Complete jobs within the departmental established time frame.
• Maintain a 98% to 100% return – free work level for assigned jobs.
• Pickup and delivery of service-related items and/or customer vehicles as needed.
• Report problems and concerns to the Service Manager and/or Shop Supervisors.
• Assist with inspections on equipment and in the work area.
• Answer questions from, and provide guidance to, less experienced shop employees.
• Attend training classes as required and study shop/service materials and manuals related to the job.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required. Combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional training in heavy duty truck repairs preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in heavy duty truck/engine repairs and installation.
• Valid driver’s license required. CDL and DOT medical card mandatory if the vehicle is driven off of dealership premises.
