Join our maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) at Lineage.
ScheduleSchedule: Sundays to Tuesdays 6 am–6 pm, Wednesdays 6 am–12 pm (noon). Shift

Pay Rate: $24/h and above based on experience.

- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
- Perform basic inspections of refrigeration systems under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on material handling equipment per manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure continual and safe operation under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
- Operate power tools, cutting torch and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts.
- Utilize onsite motorized lift, rental equipment and other tools while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Completion of trade school courses or minimal experience in building maintenance, material handling equipment maintenance, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, Freon and/or CO₂).
- Capability to complete routine preventative maintenance with instructions and supervision.
- Full proficiency with power and hand tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the facility.
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organization.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as –20 °F/–25 °C in cold storage sites or up to 100 °F/37 °C in dry storage sites while wearing company‑provided PPE and freezer gear.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs/23 kgs; weight may be higher depending on facility.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
- Comfortable with varying noise levels at times.
- Knowledge and practice of Working at Height.
