Our
** Equipment Technician
** is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop. This includes large and small earthmoving equipment.
** Hourly Base Rate:** $24.62 - $58.30 / hour
** What You Will Do in This Role:
*** Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustments
* Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
* Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
* Develop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customers
* Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
** Our Ideal Candidate:
*** Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics
* General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
* Welding backround (Mig and Stick expreince)
* Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications
** What Will Put You Ahead:
*** Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically with CAT earthmoving equipment)
* Certified Welder (3G/4G) w/ equipment repair welding expreince
* Stable work history
* Knowledge of use of various heavy equipment and the ability to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications
