Midland Marketing is a farmer-owned cooperative in north central Kansas that provides a wide range of products and services to its members and customers. They offer resources and expertise in grain marketing, agronomy services (including fertilizer and crop protection), feed, farm supplies, and petroleum. As a Custom Applicator, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve optimal crop yields. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient application of fertilizers and other agricultural products. This position requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

• Operate and maintain spray rigs and other application equipment.
• Accurately apply liquid and dry fertilizers according to prescribed rates and procedures.
• Collaborate with our agronomy sales team to ensure customers receive the best possible solutions and support.
• Maintain detailed application records and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform light maintenance as needed.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service and addressing their concerns.
• Stay up to date on the latest agricultural technologies and application techniques.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL and 1A Pesticide License.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform light equipment maintenance.
• Physical ability to lift to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and wear personal protective equipment.
• Background in agriculture or agronomy is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!

• Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (includes hourly wage, overtime, and a per-acre bonus).
