Care Facilitator/Behavioral Health Tech at KidsTLC — Full Time

Location:

Olathe, KS

Starting pay: $20.00/hr ft/PT pay differential $3.00 from Friday 5pm - Sunday 10pm.

Shifts:

12:00pm - 10:00pm; 1 day each weekend availability preferred.

• Provide high quality therapeutic care for children, ages 6-18 years, within the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility.
• Provide life skills instruction, coping and team building skills for each child.
• Encourage physical, emotional and behavioral growth and development for youth.
• Maintain the safety and security of the children in care and attend to their needs in a nurturing way.
• Provide complete documentation as required.
• Be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, leadership is valued and diversity is respected.
• Shifts:
  
  12:00pm - 10:00pm; 7:00am - 5:00pm options; 1 day each weekend availability preferred.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age with valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lead a group of kids in an activity
• Commitment, integrity and adaptability
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor and patience

• College credit hours in social work, psychology or related mental health fields from an accredited college
• Aptitude to work with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges
