The role includes Hostler/Switcher duties during a portion of the workweek at an hourly rate, with the remainder of the week spent operating regional routes. Candidates must hold a CDL Class A license with a Doubles (T) endorsement and be qualified to operate Class 8 tractor‑trailers. Responsibilities include safely docking, staging, and repositioning company and vendor trailers throughout distribution center yards to maintain efficient operations.

Flexibility is required to provide coverage during varying distribution center operating hours. Drivers will safely haul freight using double trailers while remaining compliant with all DOT and FMCSA regulations

• Operate Class A / Class 8 tractor‑trailers
  , including double trailers
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Transport freight safely and on schedule
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper logbooks
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status
• Ensure proper safety checksand safe driving practices

Hostler/Switcher

• Docking and positioning trailers at distribution centers
• Moving trailers throughout the yard to support efficient operations
• Safely handling both company-owned trailers and equipment from vendor partners
• Completing trailer movements safely, efficiently, and professionally

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Doubles / T Endorsement required
• Minimum 2
  years verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean MVR driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Experience with tractor‑trailer or Class 8 trucks
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving

• Previous doubles or multiple trailer experience
• Local, regional, or linehaul driving experience
• Familiarity with night driving or scheduled routes

• Hourly pay up to $23.00 per hour while working in yard operations
• Competitive CDL driver pay $0.75 cents per mile
• Bi-weekly pay with $0.16 per mile per diem option available
