Physician Facilitator — Old Bridge Medical Center, Old Bridge, New Jersey

Old Bridge Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician to join our team as a Physician Facilitator. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership to optimize patient care and resource utilization within a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Care Management Department to ensure efficient and effective healthcare delivery.

• Lead and mentor the Care Management team to optimize resource utilization and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with payer regulations and medical necessity criteria (e.g., MCG, Inter Qual).
• Conduct utilization reviews and manage denials/appeals.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote appropriate utilization of hospital services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and utilization committees.
• Educate medical staff on utilization guidelines and documentation best practices.

• Unrestricted medical license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proven ability to drive results and produce outcomes.
• Board Certification by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP) preferred.
• Membership in the American College of Physician Advisors (ACPA) encouraged.

Starting Base Salary: $216,675
