Individual Support Worker

Individual Support Worker – Part‑time position at Owen Health Care Inc.

A state‑licensed agency accredited by The Joint Commission, dedicated to compassionate and high‑quality care for adults and children with mental health, substance abuse, and developmental challenges.

• Assist behavioral therapists in creating and implementing individualized service plans.
• Deliver behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
• Monitor and document youth behavior, modifying activities to meet therapeutic goals.
• Develop and lead engaging recreational activities that foster emotional and social growth.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment, establishing and enforcing safety standards.

• A minimum of a high school diploma/​GED or college degree with one year of related work experience.
• At least three years of supervised experience implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching ADL/​instrumental skills to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients, families, and professionals.
• Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children and adolescents.
