Reports to:

Registered Nurse

• Responsible for the safety of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Observes patient status for changes in behavior and reports all observations to the Registered Nurse.
• Ensures patient safety by providing a safe environment, observes the patient’s environment for safety risks and takes steps to reduce the risk.
• Applies appropriate interventions: observe, redirect, diversional activities.
• Must be able to work in situations with isolation precautions.
• Ensures positive patient and team interactions by promoting HMH core beliefs and standards of care.
• Maintains patient confidentiality, privacy, and dignity.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent program (or in progress).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 60 days of hire.

Starting at $17.12 hourly.
