Environmental Service Aide I (Housekeeping) – Full Time – Evening

The Environmental Service Aide is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing rooms, furnishings, and other areas of the facility in a timely manner while following established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture, and other facility areas.
• Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop patient rooms.
• Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies, and chemicals on the cleaning cart and in the janitor’s closet.
• Consistently perform daily floor‑care procedures.
• Keep equipment clean and polished—carts, tanks, and buckets are emptied and rinsed at shift end.
• Complete other duties and/or projects as assigned in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Adhere to HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

• Previous Environmental Service or housekeeping experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Minimum rate: $17.25 hourly. The posted rate is an estimate of the minimum base pay. Total rewards package includes health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
