Position:
Registered Nurse – Float, Per Diem, Shift Day (two days per week).

• Assessment
  • Collect comprehensive data about the patient.
  • Perform age- and disease-specific assessment independently.
  • Recognize clinical status changes and identify educational needs.
• Plan
  • Develop patient‑centered goals and a coordinated care plan.
  • Prioritize interventions to meet expected outcomes.
• Implementation
  • Communicate and coordinate care with patients, families, and the health‑care team.
  • Provide and coordinate education.
  • Adhere to protocols and document care electronically.
  • Mediate medication administration with bar‑scanning and documentation technology.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary discharge planning.
• Evaluation
  • Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
  • Use critical‑thinking skills to adjust care.
  • Initiate interventions for changes in condition.
• Additional Responsibilities
  • Identify ethical issues and advocate for patient safety.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain required competencies, certifications, and education.
  • Follow the American Nurses Association Code.
  • Lift ≥35 lbs., push/pull ≥10 lbs., stand ≥6 hrs/day.
  • Adhere to HMH’s standards of behavior and organizational competencies.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

• Education and Experience
  • Associate in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
  • BSN in progress or to be completed within three (3) years.
  • Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience or participation in HMH’s Nurse Residency.

• Preferred
  • National specialty certification, when eligible.
• Licenses & Certifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license at HMH location.
  • BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.

Minimum hourly rate of $44.24. Compensation is competitive and based on market data, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and more. Pay may include performance‑based incentives, shift differentials, bonuses, or commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, retirement).
