• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and solve guest concerns.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and let them know you are happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain features of the Target App, including Wallet, and direct guests to enroll and use services like Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns following register prompts and collaborate with Leaders to resolve issues per Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and returns while ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; ability to lift up to 44 pounds with or without assistance (some duties require lifting up to 10 pounds frequently).
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain mobile for scheduled shift length; work in varying temperatures and environments as required by duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
