Per Diem Hhs Electrical Inspector

Under the direction of the Construction Official, review plans for completeness and compliance with the Uniform Construction Code of the State of New Jersey; make inspections, as required, to ensure compliance with all applicable codes; does related work as required.

Minimum Requirement:
High school diploma or its equivalent, possession of a valid RCS, ICS or HHS License and a valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing;
Dual licensure in multiple fields (Electrical/Fire/Plumbing/Building) preferred;
Considerable knowledge of the Uniform Construction code and of approved methods of inspection;
Exceptional customer-service focus, strong communication skills and computer proficiency required.$40 - $50 / hour, commensurate with experience and the potential for full-time employment
